Innovate or detonate, get disruptive or be disrupted.

Innovate or detonate, get disruptive or be disrupted.

Be a little disruptive. Cause and effect is a powerful relationship that has consequences. Disrupt for the right reasons by not harming others and do well. The results might just disrupt your assumptions about the current economic environment.

There is no such thing as business as usual (BAU), if there is, then you've been asleep and your work environment is under real threat, in fact so might your job.

Start disrupting, start challenging, get creative, go lateral, think what's possible, do what hasn't been achieved and stop putting off what needs to be done. Fix what is broken, clean up the messes, hold people to account and let go of the fear.  Fear is “fantasized events appearing real.”

These are the times to be thinking right outside of the box.  Sort, shine, sharpen and school your team.

The “disrupter” knows how to disrupt the mindset, disrupt BAU and disrupt institutionalised work patterns, most of all disrupt “can’t do” thinking.   “Can’t do” is “Won’t do.”  How many times do you’re hear that in a day?  Oh please, help me…..!

Disrupting is not about being defiant or deviant. It’s about surfacing opportunities to disrupt the status quo.  Status quo is created to stabilise the process or is it….?  I have learned that work patterns exist to protect turf and power and of course maintain good quality systems and service.  Different patterns exist in different workplaces. Start asking others what works and what doesn’t work.  Replicate success. Create ripples, create “what if” thinking, and remember the butterfly effect. Flap your wings….

Taking a managed risk is business and career growth. That's where we help. We help you create a culture of risk resilience.

We help you with business process improvement. It’s true…we help you create a business that goes to the next level.

The GFC is definitely disruptive!  It is there for a reason.  Our response is to reflect, redesign, refocus and re-ignite the fire.  Fight back if you want your business or team to improve.  Consider what might happen if you didn’t partner with PFA.

Our team can show you how improve strategic delivery, measurable outcomes and quality of products and services.

The world is disruptive like it or not. We must counter this with more disruptive and innovative strategies.

Nothing changes until you take action…so call the PFA team.

Journey well,
Matt Cartwright
